REI Nation Real Estate Services ("we," "us," "our") operates www.rentreinationhomes.com (the "Site"), where prospective residents can browse single-family homes available for rent. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • The Site is a browsing and listing site. It contains no forms and no input fields. You cannot submit an application, create an account, or make a payment on this Site.
  • When you choose to apply for a home or log in to a resident or investor portal, you leave this Site and go to Propertyware, a third-party property management platform. Information you enter there is governed by that platform.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • The Site uses cookies for analytics and advertising measurement, described below.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly: None through this Site. There are no forms, no account registration, no newsletter signup, and no payment processing on the Site.

If you contact us by telephone using a number listed on the Site, we collect the information you choose to share with us in that call.

Information collected automatically: When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information, including your IP address and general location inferred from it; device type, operating system, and browser; pages and listings viewed; search and filter selections; the referring website or advertisement; and the date, time, and duration of your visit.

Information we do not collect on this Site: Social Security numbers, government identifiers, financial account or payment card numbers, credit or background check data, income documentation, or rental history. Information of that kind is collected only during the application process, which takes place on Propertyware's platform, not here.

How we use information

We use automatically collected information to operate, maintain, and secure the Site; understand which homes and markets prospective residents are interested in; measure the performance of our advertising; improve the Site's content and accessibility; and detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and technical problems.

We do not use this information to make decisions about rental applications. Application decisions are governed by our published rental qualifications and applicable fair housing law.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Site uses the following third-party technologies, each of which may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:

Your choices. When you first visit the Site you are presented with a cookie notice. When you leave this Site

Links on the Site take you to services operated by others, including Propertyware (app.propertyware.com) for rental applications and the resident and investor portals, and REI Nation (reination.com, careers.reination.com) for affiliated company information and career listings. Once you follow one of these links, the privacy practices of that service apply. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share the information described in this policy only with service providers who operate the Site and our marketing on our behalf; with affiliates within the REI Nation family of companies; when required by law or in response to valid legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of our residents, clients, personnel, or the public; and in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.

Data retention

We retain automatically collected Site analytics data for 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated so that it no longer identifies an individual.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information under our control. The Site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for adults seeking rental housing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Site is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
